Manufactured by Barnstormers exclusively for the Military Aviation Museum, this vintage-inspired T-shirt is made from 100% cotton and trimmed in navy blue. The design pays homage to our FG-1D Corsair and Commander Shelton Ray Beacham, who flew with Fighting Squadron VF-17, the Jolly Rogers.

Beacham, also known as the "Kitty Hawk Kid," joined the U.S. Navy in 1939 and earned his wings the following year. In 1943, Lt. Beacham was assigned to VF-17 and flew aircraft #31. The squadron's signature Skull and Crossbones adorned the noses of their Corsairs and is also featured on the museum’s FG-1D Corsair. During his service in the Pacific, Beacham achieved two aerial victories, which are marked on the museum’s aircraft.
