This special edition hoodie features custom artwork of our historic PBY-5A Catalina (BuNo. 48294), which entered U.S. Navy service in November 1943. Built in San Diego and assigned to VPB-92 out of Norfolk, Virginia, this aircraft flew missions across French Morocco, the Canary Islands, Gibraltar, and the Azores—hunting German submarines during the final years of WWII. After the war, she served with the U.S. Coast Guard before retiring in 1956 with 3,567 flight hours.
