This is an actual relic from P-40E Warkhawk Serial 41-5658. This fragment was removed during flight restoration in the 1990' by the Military Aviation Musuem - Virginia Beach, Virginia. This aircraft now performs at airshows in the livery of American Volunteer Group (Flying Tigers) pilot, "Tex" Hill.
This 5” x 7” (12.7 x 18 cm) historical plaque displays this rare artifact, along with the story of the piece, all combined into an attractive, ready-to-hang wood plaque.
